MING Update for American Members

Dear MIWC American Members,

In our ongoing effort to inform American members of Tax and Banking Issues, this year the MING organization, of which we are a member, will be offering a tax and banking update session. As American members who have settled in Germany  (on a permanent or temporary basis) and who may have financial assets (e.g. non-property investments, bank and brokerage accounts, life insurance investment programs, etc.) located outside the U.S. you may be affected by the US Foreign Accounts Tax Compliance Act (FATCA).

The AGBC (American German Business Council)  has arranged for Ms. Galia Antebi, Corporate and Tax Lawyer, Ruchelman Corporate International Taxation (New York City) to provide an update on FACTA on Monday, 3rd November from 1900-2100 at the Marriott Hotel, Berlinerstr. 93, 80805 Munich in north Schwabing.  As MIWC members , you are cordially invited to attend.  We ask that  you  sign up in the Events section of the AGBC website (www.agbc.de) or send an E-mail  to lschulzl@aol.com. The meeting room holds up to 35 attendees. Additionally they  ask that non-AGBC attendees contribute Eur 15 each to help cover our meeting costs.

Attached your will find a copy of the event description, please click here to read it. It is also posted at the MING website: www.ming-in-munich.com

Please let me know of any further questions.

Best regards,
Hope
