Waldwirtschaft Beer Garden Opening – Saturday, 13 May

This reminder is to let you know that the Beer Garden Opening at the Waldwirtschaft Großhesselohe will take place rain or shine. The weather is getting warmer, and the chances that it might rain are diminishing. If we do have rain, we can take seats in the “Sarlettl” which is the roofed and closed tent just to the left of the beer garden as you enter – where we will be warm and dry.

There is no entry fee to pay. You just pay for the food and drinks you consume in the beer garden. We only ask for a small tip for the band. All are invited, so please tell your friends who may be interested in joining us.

Beer Garden Opening is at the Waldwirtschaft Großhesselohe, Georg-Kalb-Str. 3, 82049 München – Saturday, 13 May

Guests can arrive around noon, and the music will begin at 1 p.m. and continue until 4 p.m. Soul Master Mel Canday and his band Chessboard featuring Butch Kellem on Trombone and Charles Walker on the big Sax will be playing the best in soul, funk and blues for your listening and dancing pleasure.  This is the band that played for us last September for the End of Season Soul Party that we had in the Waldwirtschaft and had the entire beer garden dancing. This will be a terrific afternoon and the best way to open the beer garden season. The beer garden features excellent food, a fully-equipped children’s playground, a mini golf course and plentiful parking. However, a good way to get there is per S-Bahn S7 (exit Isartalbahnhof). From there it is a 15 minute walk to the Waldwirtschaft.  The best way to travel there is by bicycle. The Waldwirtschaft is very close to the Isar river just up the hill.

For more information about the Waldwirtschaft take a look at the website:  www.waldwirtschaft.de

Please let me know per return email if you want to join us so I can arrange for enough seating in the beer garden. RSVP – ming@internationalwomensclub.org

Let’s have some fun and open the beer garden season the best way we know how.

Jane & Hope
